Non-toxic Upland Recommendations
Looking for advice on non-toxic loads (brand, shot, load) for upland hunting. I have always used lead and I have found very little information on what works in non-toxic. I have both a Browning Citori 12 gauge and Benelli M2 12 guage.

Any insights appreciated.

Re: Non-toxic Upland Recommendations
Use steel shot, it will save you a fortune. I like Federal steel. It is one of the fastest loads and works every time I hit the bird. Ha, Ha. Kent faststeel and Winchester are good too. You can find their details on the websites. On pheasants a #4 or 5 shot works well. Remember to use an improved cylander. If you use a modified like you do with lead, you will miss a lot of roosters. Modified steel ends up being a full choke. If you want to use non-toxic on late season geese. That is when 10 shells are worth $.
